The Rocky Mountain High ARC would like all Amateurs to know that on Mar 11th, 06 a Saturday at about 10am we will be hosting a repeater class. We will be hosting several of the local repeater Gurus or the men with the plan. These are the Amateurs that know all, can fix all, and can do all with repeaters. We have a 2 meter (VHF) repeater that we acquired and have recently received our assigned frequencies from the Colorado Council of Amature Radio Clubs or more commonly known as CCARC in Denver. If you've ever wondered what a repeater looks like on the inside, or if you have questions about repeaters then COME ONE COME ALL. The repeater TECHS will bring their expensive personnal equipment they use to work on repeaters, and they will make sure the repeater is operating on frequency and tuned properly. All HAMs that have been around for awhile, all HAMs that use repeaters daily or any NEWBI HAMs that are still learning Amateur radio and wonder what that repeater they use looks like.. Our fully operational 70 centimeter (UHF) repeater (closed) is available to look at.. The UHF repeater has been fully operational for just over a full year now and has good coverage of Colorado Springs. The 2 meter(VHF) repeater will be open to all HAMS so if you want to use it and your brand new then hurry and get your Ham tests taken so you can get on the air.

Address is located at 126 Lawrence Ave. We will be located in the rear in the garage of WØrsh, Bob Hatch. If you go to the back of the house there is a driveway into a large parking lot located between a large glass building that is located on the corner of Parkside and Bijou. If you come in from Pikes Peak east then turn left, northbound onto Parkside. At the stop sign at Parkside and Bijou turn right, East bound and then immediately turn right in the driveway right behind that big building on your right. If you need directions from any other way in please call or email us. The talk in freq will be 146.520 simplex and yes there will be coffee and donuts.

Please RSVP to w0rsh at(@)arrl.net or call Bob at 719-635-9435. You can also email me: Mike Dassero, N0mud at(@)arrl.net .. The garage is Bob's Electronics and he is in the shop Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, so if you have any questions at all either email or call, Bob will return your call or answer your email as soon as he can. We ask that you please RSVP so we have an idea on how many chairs, coffee and donuts to have available. Don't worry if you can't RSVP then at least show up, we won't turn you away.

Our club has been in existance for just over a year with seven members, two repeaters and we meet unofficially in Bob's garage. Our club is also working on a club patch and qsl cards, and slowly growing. The club call sign is W9usn..
Again COME ONE, COME all to a official/unofficial repeater class. If your curious just show up but we do ask everyone to please RSVP if at all possible.

Thanks and 73's

Mike Dassero, NØmud, President
Bob Hatch, WØrsh, Vice Preseident
