[PPRAANet] Field Day - Last minute updates

All,

We expect this will be the last year at this beautiful site.  Please drop by and enjoy the area, even if only for a short time or only for the potluck!

There are two propane barbecue grills that will be available from MARC.  Two tables will be provided for food setup and prep.  If you want to cook, no other cooking equipment will be provided so bring your own.

As per tradition, the Saturday night meal is a potluck provided by the attendees at the field day event.  This has always been a good time as you can meet those you've heard on the air, eye-ball with old friends, or make new friends.  PPRAA will be providing a Saturday morning and Sunday morning pancake breakfast as well as a light lunch Saturday.  I had neglected to plan for a dining fly or two, if you have one please toss it in the trunk/truck and bring it along.

Just some notes about fire safety.  There is a fire ban in effect, therefore there will be no open fires or flames.  Only propane grills or Coleman type stoves and lanterns.  Smoking will be allowed ONLY in designated areas, and will be enforced.  Please take extreme care around anything that can spark, smoke, or flame.
