[PPRAANet] 2006 PPIHC Final Call and CHANGES

This is the last call for volunteer radio operators to support the 2006 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The race is Saturday, July 1, 2006. However, your credentials and helper pass will work on the practice and qualifying days of Thursday, June 29 and Friday, June 30.

If you are interested and want to help, please send me your contact information (name, call, address and phone no.). Please do not REPLY ALL to this message. No one else cares except you and me.

Now for the changes. There will be a mandatory safety briefing for all operators who work the race. The date for the first one has changed and I do have a date for the makeup meeting. Location for both briefings will be the CSPD Stetson Hills community room.

MAKEUP: 7:00PM Sunday, June 25

The PPRAA website will have the application, emergency data sheet, 2006 Mission Plan and 2006 Handbook posted by tomorrow night. Everyone (that hasn't done so yet) should download the application and emergency data sheet and fax (591-3088) them to me, attach them in an e-mail to me or give them to me at one of the club meetings next week. I would prefer you fax them to me. The earlier the better. I plan to take the first batch the the PPIHC office on Monday to get the credentials started.
