[PPRAANet] Fox Hunting in Denver

Hi Everyone,

I've been in contact with Larry Benko, W0QE, who lives
in the Denver area.  He has extended an invitation to
everyone to attend foxhunts in the Denver area.  The
next hunt there is Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 3PM. 
Hunts are scheduled the second Sunday of each month.

Larry conducts fox hunts there somewhat differently
from the way we have done them recently here in
Colorado Springs.  They are more closely aligned with
national and international rules than ours.  For
example, they are mostly walking with as many as 20
foxes transmitting at once with power from a few
milliwatts up to five or more watts. They are
typically located within a few hundred yards to a mile
or so from each other.

Larry has extensive experience in foxhunting and has
attended national hunts.  He is willing to assist in
improving our skills.  He would be happy to come down
to Colorado Springs on a weekend afternoon and do a
show and tell.  He is very willing to discuss
foxhunting with anyone interested.
