WRONG -- those new privileges have not yet taken effect (see below).

While the FCC has announced that the Morse requirement will be dropped, it
doesn't become effective until 30 days after it is published in the Federal
Register and it has not yet been published.  The new HF privileges probably
won't take effect until sometime in February -- so those anxiously awaiting
those new HF privileges won't be able to participate in Straight Key Night
on December 31.
