The Pike Peak FM Association (PPFMA) has provided a TelPac gateway
which compliments gateways in other parts of El Paso and Teller
counties. The gateway is located in central Colorado Springs near
the intersection of Uintah St. and Circle Drive.
A TelPac gateway is used to access the WinLink system. WinLink
provides a method for sending messages within the Amateur Radio
community using a combination of radio and the internet.
The TelPac gateway also has a node and 'digipeat' function.
Frequency: 144.930
gateway call sign: KB0SRJ-10
node callsign: KB0SRJ-7
Digi alias: PPFMA
All Amateur Radio operators interested in packet radio are invited
to use this system.
Note that 144.930 is the frequency used by the Pike Peak Amateur
Radio Emergency Service. During emergencies/exercises use of the
TelPac node may be limited.
