[PPRAANet] PPRAA Foxhunt

Okay, gulls and bouys, listen up.  (Just returned from
a week of vacation in Florida.....still trying to
learn to speak their language.....and don't forget to
pass the hush puppies and catfish.)

The next PPRAA Foxhunt (hidden transmitter hunt) will
be Saturday, October 29th.  The start location is the
south parking lot at Prospect Lake.  We'll meet at the
west end of the lot.  Start time will be 1:00PM. 
Please be on time so as not to inconvenience others.

The fox will be on the usual frequency of 146.58 MHz. 
Scoring will be by time only with the lowest score
being declared the winner.  You may communicate on the
fox frequency as we will lock the fox from responding
to received transmissions.  There will be a couple
twists to make the hunt more interesting.  You should
be able to overcome them easily.  There will be about
50 yards round trip walking over moderate terrain to
locate the fox once you have found it's vacinity.

You do not need to be a memeber of the club to
participate.  If you are inexperienced and would like
to participate please come on out to the start
location and we will be pleased to pair you with
someone more experienced.  Don't worry if you don't
have equipment....just come on out.  Don't be bashful
we all started at some point and we are all still
learning.

The winner will receive "Foxy" to keep for a month. 
That's the clubs foxhunt trophy.  You will have the
opportunity to set up the next hunt.  Oh yeah, and you
get bragging rights for a whole month too.
