[PPRAANet] March Fox Hunt Results

Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in getting out the results for the March 
Fox Hunt. We had a good turn out and the weather was 
great. After a delay in getting started because I couldn't 
turn on the fox remotely, we had a very competitive 
hunt. Thanks to all that turned out.
The results ...
1st Jim AB0UK, 66 Min. plus 15.4 Miles 
        TOTAL = 81.4 points
2nd Ted N0NKG, 66 Min. plus 19.2 Miles
         TOTAL = 85.2 points
3rd Al (VO1NO) and Jeremy 71 Min. plus 15.5 Miles
        TOTAL = 86.5 points
4th Dave N0UVR, 100 Min. plus 16.1 Miles
        TOTAL = 116.1 points
Rick K0SU, Mike K0MLA and Susan KC0SYA did 
not finish before the fox went back to sleep. All had a good 
time and enjoyed a social gathering at a near by Red Robin.

We sure enjoy this phase of Amateur Radio and encourage 
any newcomers to come out join us. If you are timid or don't 
have all the equipment, come on out and pair up with some 
one who is a little more experienced.

By the way, the April PPRAA Club meeting program will 
cover fox hunting equipment and operational hints. To get 
a few more interested in participating, we will conduct a 
workshop on Sunday April 17 (location to be announced) 
at 1300 followed by a mini-hunt. Please mark it on your 
calender.

We'll anxiously await the announcement for the April hunt 
by Jim AB0UK. I hear he plans to add some tricky changes.
