[PPRAANet] PPRAA Simplex Net Reminder

Greetings,

It's time for your friendly reminder that the
PPRAA Simplex Net meets every Thursday at 7:00PM local
time on 146.58 MHZ. Alternate frequency is 146.55
should the primary be unavailable.  You do not need to
be a member of the PPRAA to participate.

The NCS for this week is Jim Gifford, K0LOB.  Lets all
check-in and give him our support.  

This week's tech talk starts a three part series about
packing and shipping amateur equipment. You never
knew there was so much to know about this mystery
subject.  A box is a box....right!

Tech talk subjects in planning include at least three
more sessions on soldering, third order intercept
point (what ever that is), FCC RF regulations, APRS,
packet and propagation.

As usual we will conclude the net with the ARRL Audio
News.
