[PPRAANet] HF Backpack Presentation by N0LX

Jake (N0LX) will be giving a presentation on his outdoor ham radio adventures 
here in Colorado. Whether by boat, bike or backpack, there's a story to be 
told.


Come see and hear him at the Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association meeting on 
August 10 (Wed), at 7pm. Lots of photos illustrating his marine altitude 
record attempt,  the evolution of his portable setups from backpack mounted balloon 
verticals to antennas made from saltwater! 
Even a bit of audio from his recent contact to New Zealand...while riding his 
bicycle.


The meeting place is in the auditorium of the former Office of Emergency 
Management (OEM) building located at 305 S. Union Blvd in Colorado Springs, CO. 
The auditorium is downstairs. The elevator in the County Health building can 
be used if needed.
