[PPRAANet] PPRAA Simplex Net - Hear the BBC Report on 9/11

A friendly reminder of the PPRAA Simplex Net every
Thursday at 7PM MDT on 146.58 MHZ.  (Alternate
frequency is 146.55 MHZ should the primary be
unavailable.)  Please take a few minutes and check-in.
 We have announcements, ARRL Audio News or technical
article(s) and  maybe other items depending on what
you bring to the net.

This week in place of the ARRL Audio News we will have
the first 13 minutes and 28 seconds of the recent BBC
program concerning ham radio involvement in the
aftermath of the World Trade Center disaster on
September 11, 2001.  Next week we will have the
remaining 14 minutes and 31 seconds of the program. 
Be sure to check in and hear this most interesting
report.  Much of the report is of amateurs on the air
and interviews with amateurs who assisted in the hours
and days that followed the disaster. 

Any licensed ham is welcome to check-in.  You do NOT
need to be a member of the PPRAA to participate. 
Spread the word to anyone not on the above reflectors.
 So, mark your calender, stop by and enjoy the fun.
