Just a friendly reminder of the PPRAA Simplex Net
every
Thursday at 7PM MDT on 146.58 MHZ.  (Alternate
frequency is 146.55 MHZ should the primary be
unavailable.)  Please take a few minutes and check-in.

Each week we have the ARRL Audio News.  Beginning this
week we are adding "Tech Talk."  Each week someone
will give a short technical presentation.  Mike
Anderson, WV7T, PPRAA Education Coordinator and Board
Member will give a technical talk once a month.  We
would like others to volunteer as well.  Nothing
fancy....just 2-3 minutes on a technical subject of
your choosing that may be of interest to the group.

Patrick Kelly at KC0MIR at arrl.net if you would like to
help.  We would like the technical talk at the PPRAA
club meeting repeated on the net after the
presentation to the club.

To begin the Tech Talk this week we would like those
checking in to give a short 2-3 sentence description
of their 2 meter antenna. No brand names please.  Next
week we will have a short talk on "ground loops."
 
Any licensed ham is welcome to check-in to the net. 
You do NOT need to be a member of the PPRAA to
participate.  Spread the word to anyone not on the
above reflectors.  So, mark your calender, stop by and
enjoy the fun.
