[PPRAANet] PPRAA Simplex Net

Just a friendly reminder of the PPRAA Simplex Net
every Thursday at 7PM MDT on 146.58 MHZ.  (Alternate
frequency is 146.55 MHZ should the primary be
unavailable.)  Please take a few minutes and check-in.

This week's Tech Talk will be SKYWARN and will be
presented by Sid White, K4ARM.  Sid is the
local SKYWARN liason with the National Weather
Service.  He will take your questions about SKYWARN
after his presentation.  If you have an interest in
SKYWARN this is the time and place to get started.

Next week's (12/9/4) Tech Talk will be Edge of Space
Sciences as presented by Don Fraser, WA9WWS.  Don has
been with EOSS since early 1990 and has a wealth of
information about this fascinating part of amateur
radio.

We are looking for a guest NCS to fill in December
16th on the net.  Patrick will be out of town and my
(Jim) work schedule may conflict with the net.  Please
contact Patrick or myself at our email address listed
above if you can fill in.
 
Any licensed ham is welcome to check-in to the net. 
You do NOT need to be a member of the PPRAA to
participate.  Spread the word to anyone not on the
above reflectors.  So, mark your calender, stop by and
enjoy the fun and maybe learn a new thing or two.
