[PPRAANet] PPRAA Simplex Net

Just a friendly reminder of the PPRAA Simplex Net
every Thursday at 7PM MDT on 146.58 MHZ.  (Alternate
frequency is 146.55 MHZ should the primary be
unavailable.)  Please take a few minutes and check-in.

Each week we have the ARRL Audio News.  This week's
Tech Talk will be "Contesting" and presented by Mike
Anderson, WV7T.  Mike is the Education Coordinator for
the PPRAA and is an avid QRP Contestor.

Next week's Tech Talk will be "Safety."  Be sure to 
check-in and hear this important topic.  In January we
are going to start a series on transmission lines and
antennas.

If you have a topic suggestion or would
like to present a Tech Talk please contact me, Jim

We have made arrangements to archieve Tech Talk
presentations on the PPRAA website.  Currently they
are being rounded up and formatted for inclusion on
the site.  We will announce the URL as soon as they
are available.

We are looking for two guest NCS to fill in December
16th and 23rd.  Patrick will be out of town and my
(Jim Harris, AB0UK) work schedule may conflict with
the net. 
Please contact Patrick or myself at the above email
address if you can fill in.
 
Any licensed ham is welcome to check-in to the net. 
You do NOT need to be a member of the PPRAA to
participate.  Spread the word to anyone not on the
above reflectors.  So, mark your calender, stop by and
enjoy the fun and maybe learn a new thing or two.
