[PPRAANet] Antenna For Sale

I have passed this along to the reflector a few weeks ago, but felt it
would be worthwhile passing it along again.
 
Joe Wilkowski, K8FC, who resides in the Cotapaxi area, has a Gap Titan
DX Vertical antenna for sale.  He purchased it from the estate of a
close friend so that the friends widow would not be taken advantage of
in the process of selling her late husband's equipment.  
 
This is a nearly new antenna, complete with hardware and documentation,
and sells new for close to $400.  Joe has it priced at $175.  The Gap
Titan is a top of the line vertical.  It is approximately 26' tall when
assembled.  It has a counterpoise kit and does not require any radials
to be buried in the ground.  If you doubt the pricing, then scan the ads
in the various journals.

weekend and riding his motorcycle.  (I am trying to visualize how a guy
riding a motorcycle would look with a Gap Titan DX strapped to his back.
Hi Hi).  I'm sure that if someone said they wanted it, he would bring it
in his pickup.  He told me it was broken down into 2 10' sections and
one 6' section.  This is not one of those "let me look at it and decide"
kind of things, guys. If Joe is going to transport it to Megafest, he
doesn't want to take it home.  
 
Anybody who has been a ham for any length of time knows that the Gap
Titan is a good antenna.  And at $175 it's a steal.  I have known Joe
for some time and if there was anything wrong with it, he would say so
right up front.  Since he lives in a home surrounded by a lot of acreage
and an antenna farm, he doesn't need a Gap Titan.  Now's your chance to
save about $225.  That alone should keep the xyl happy, as long as you
had her convinced that $400 was a great price.  
 
Don't procrastinate, guys/gals.  You'll be kicking yourself if you need
a great antenna and let this one get away.  Jim AB0UK has one and loves
