[PPRAANet] PPRAA Simplex Net Reminder

Happy New Year!

Your weekly friendly reminder that the PPRAA Simplex
Net meets every Thursday at 7:00PM local time on
146.58 MHZ. Alternate frequency is 146.55 should the
primary be unavailable.  You do not need to be a
member of the
PPRAA to participate.

Each week we have the ARRL Audio News.  The Tech Talk
feature this week is decibels.  Rick Brown, K0SU, will
present the discussion.  This is in preparation to our
discussions on feedlines and antennas that will be
presented in January.  The December 0-Beat has an
article titled Power 101.  Grab your copy and follow
along as Rick guides us through this important and
often misunderstood topic.

Future tech talks will present packing and shipping
tips for amateur equipment and soldering to include
PL-259 connectors.

Please contact me if you have a topic that you would
like to present during tech talk or would like to be
presented please or if you would like to help with NCS
duties on the net.  This is a good way to learn NCS
