The 6 meter band is commonly used for RC remote control. I am not that familiar
with the band plan but a recent ARRL Repeater Directory shows 50.8 to 51.0 MHz
as "radio remote control" on 20 kHz channels. So it sounds like he is operating
on an appropriate frequency.
