Someone replied with a great idea!  I've modified my database (i.e.
spreadsheet) to include a field for type of group:
   Youth
   Young Adult
   Older Adults
Under Youth I'm including age ranges.

With the new idea, I can maintain a list of hams (i.e. you) that are willing
to open their shack to groups based on your specifications (or ever a single
person), just specify!

I've been thinking about this for a while, not only for the Boy and Girl
scout organizations, but for area youth...

I would like to start a data-base of local amateur operators that would be
open to having a groups visit their ham shack.  The database would be a list
of folks the we could call in case so troop, class, or club wanted to check
out amateur radio.

So.. if you are willing to get on the list, please reply to me (not list)
with:
  Call
  Name
  Phone
  Street Address
  City
  [if in Colorado Spring, area of town (NW, N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, central)
  Max number that could visit
  Class: Tech, General, Extra
  Email (which may be a list server instead of the one I receive your mail
from)

Jamboree-On-The-Air is coming up and we will need operators at the site,
October 18th.  If you can help out, please contact Aaron (kd6flm@aol.com).

If you can not make it to the site but are willing to have scouts (boy or
girl) drop by your "shack" please send me an email that you would be
available, or send the above information and I'll add you to the database.
