As most of you know, Radio Shack appears to be getting out of the 2 Meter
business.

After looking at Doc's (W0MCT) setup, I tried to get a dual band glass
mounted antenna. I checked at the store on N. Academy. They checked on
their computer and found out there were none in Colorado Springs. There
was one in Canon City. Since I had a meeting there, I asked them to hold
it for me. Last Saturday I got it. To my surprise this $39.99 antenna was
being discontinued by Radio Shack and the price is $3.97!!! I had the
people check the computer system again which showed one in Pueblo South
and none in the main Pueblo Mall. I went to the Pueblo South store to get
another bargain. Oops - it was a return that had been damaged and missing
the cable. When I got back to the Springs, I went to my regular store
again to find out where are any others. I had them transfer me 1 from
Montrose and 7 from Denver. There are only about six others in the whole
midwest region.

Bottom line is I only wanted/needed two. I knew that others may also be
looking for this particular antenna and wanted to get some for local
Hams. I will sell them at my cost to the first ones that come to my house
to pick them up. Please e-mail or call me (591-0948) to let me know you
want one (or more) and get directions, if needed.
