The more I'm exposed to the Anderson Powerpole connectors, the more I like
them. I bought a few at a recent hamfest and have used them on a couple of
devices, and am now going to make a larger purchase for more.

Depending on the size of the order, the shipping costs be expensive, so I'm
asking if any of you are interested in going in on a group order to purchase
some of these connectors. If you are, let me know, and I'll be glad to put
together an order. I'm planning on attending the PPRAA meeting tomorrow
evening, and can get a list of who wants what. I'll hold the order open for
about a week in case folks won't be at the club meeting.

Visit www.powerwerx.com to read the spec sheets, see what you want
(connectors, wire, crimpers, RigBlasters, etc), and help me put together an
order where we can save on some shipping costs.

For example, an order of 25 pairs of 30-amp connectors ($19.95) will cost
$4.35 in shipping ($0.972 per pair), but two order of 25 (50 total) has a
shipping cost of only $5.40 (0.$906 per pair). In large quantities, the
connectors themselves get down to around $0.60 per pair. BTW, the 15, 30
and 45 amp connectors are physically the same size, so they are compatible
with each other. The difference appears to be in the contacts.

Last night's ARES net was purely coincidental that Mike Allen N0MIK chose to
talk about the advantages of Powerpoles. But it also led directly to me
mentioning this group order. Everyone is welcome to help me lower costs, so
I'm also including both PPRAA and EPCRACES on this e-mail as well.
