(Lee, you might want to put this info on the PPRAA web page so everyone can
easily find the reflector archives.)
[I believe the following info should work for all QTH.net reflectors; simply
substitute the list name in place of "ppraanet" in the URLs below.]
Last night at the club meeting, Doug W0MHP asked about the e-mail reflector
archives, and how to access them. For everyone's benefit, here's what I
know of the list archives.
Since the reflector has changed several times since its inception, there are
several web URLs to go to in order to find ALL of the list archives.
For the most recent (2002 and later) archives:
http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/ppraanet/
Note that some lists have closed, or members-only, access to their archives.
If you use the above for private archives, you'll get a "page not found"
error. For private archives, use:
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/private/ppraanet/ (This won't work for
ppraanet, as its archives are not private, but "epcraces" is private so this
one will work for epcraces.)
Before the "Mailman" reflector software, QTH.net used "Majordomo", and those
archives are at either of the following URLs:
http://mailman.qth.net/archive/ppraanet/ppraanet.html
http://mailman.qth.net/digest/ppraanet-digest.archive/ (This one goes back
to day one on the list)
Here are a few other lists I know of that are using qth.net for their
reflectors, so you can read their archives:
epcraces
aresco
ppares
coham
ppfma
Finally, you can also go to the list information page at:
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/ppraanet
There, at the end of the first paragraph, you'll find the statement, "To see
the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the PPRAANet Archives",
and the link will take you to the first link I posted above.
(Oddly enough, as I was preparing this message this morning, I tried to
connect to these archives to double-check their correctness. The server is
down or not responding for some reason. I know there have been problems
from time to time with the server, and I believe these URLs are right.
Hopefully when you try this, the server will be back up.)
