All...

Today, the Salvation Army in Colorado Springs reported that their current
communications plan is meeting their needs. They said that we could stand
down, with their thanks for an excellent job.

As of today, we will not be holding the twice-daily Resource Briefings.

I wish to thank each volunteer for the time, personal resources, and energy
that you expended in support of the various missions associated with the
Hayman Fire. Because of your efforts, firemen and evacuees were fed
excellent meals in a timely manner. Those who used the ARC shelters at Lake
George and Woodland Park had additional comfort and support. Fire fighters
and residents at West Creek Fire Station had communications to the outside
world. The Teller County Sheriff's office could communicate with West Creek
Fire. The Colorado Springs Salvation Army Director was able to have
instantaneous communications both in the office and in the field. The
Woodland Park Police Department had access to all the facilities that were
covered by our operators. All these things YOU made possible...these and
many others that you did that were above and beyond the call of the duties
that we were in place to perform.

Thank you.

Sid, K4ARM
