A request has been granted to use the facilities at the St. Francis of Assisi
Parish for ham radio presentations. (There is a huge parking lot)

I have found the Saturday dates April 20th and May 4th to be available. Only
one will be used with the second as an alternative date.
Can anyone think why these dates might not be good?

1) Set up period would be from 730am-8:45am.
2) Program from 9am-10/1030am
3) Attendee visitation of ham radio displays and representatives 10/1030-1200
4) Takedown/cleanup 1200-1300

There is a needed for volunteers. (Only one job for each volunteer, unless
you are feeling frisky!)

2 people each. A primary and a back up if primary person cannot attend.

1) Set up - take down chairs/tables. (Both are in same room as the
presentation, might take 20 minutes)
2) Overhead projector operator.
3) Camcorder operator.
4) Digital picture taker.
5) Refreshments. (There is a kitchen that opens in presentation room)
6) Representatives from:
    1) RES
    2) RACES
    3) Skyward
    4) NTO
    5) MARS
    6) Satellite
    7) Volunteer Examiners
    8) Scout merit badge counselors
    9) HFA VHF, UHF, Digital, ATV, etc.

There Very well may need to be Technician Class license course to follow
presentation.

I am hoping you folks will help with this endeavor to inform the public about
ham radio and to license new operators.

Please think about pitching in.

Let me know if you can be a part of this wonderful opportunity.
