[PPRAANet] A little guidance requested.

I have been subscribed to this list for a little while, and have been 
monitoring the activities here.  I am interested in persuing my own 
amateur license and was wondering how to go about getting started.

Also I am a homeschool dad, and would like to have my 9 year old 
daughter go through the process with me.

Any tips or suggestions?
