[PHX-Skywarn] SRD 2009

     _* SKYWARN  RECOGNITION  DAY  (SRD)  IS  COMING  UP !*_

NWS and ARRL  SKYWARN Recognition Day (SRD) is set for the 24 hours
from 0000 to 2400 UTC on December 5, 2009.  In the Phoenix area,
we will participate at *WX7PHX *from 5 PM MST Friday  Dec 4th to
5 PM MST Saturday Dec 5, 2009.

This will be the 11th  edition of SRD and updates will be posted on this 
site.

Once again I will be working on a schedule for ham radio operators and 
others to
come to the National Weather Service Forecast Office, in the SRP building.
This will be an opportunity to help celebrate the contributions that 
volunteer
SKYWARN radio operators make to the NWS.

There is very limited space for visitors for this event!
