If you have a weather station and are not involved in the CWOP (Citizens
Weather Observation Program) we sure would appreciate your participation.
You do not have to be a ham radio operator to participate.
By participating in the CWOP, your station becomes part of the APRSWXNET as
well as the MesoWest stations.
NOAA's FSL provides QC for your station's information which helps you keep
it tuned up!
If you have been considering a weather station, Ambient has the Oregon
Scientific WM-918's on sale for $159.00.
With a few minor modifications (mainly a solar radiation shield), these make
great low end weather stations.
There are many part of AZ that do not have weather stations close by. We
can sure use more!
I currently have three stations in La Paz County and just bought a 4th that
will be coming on line very soon.
If you need more information on the CWOP, you can contact me off sig at
[email protected]
