Hello All...
Just a short reminder.... Theres still room left for a few more people..
This class will be for NEW spotters and updates for current spotters...
Please contact Steve or David before May 7th....
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Phoenix will conduct an important
spotter training class on May 10, 2003 in Mesa. The details of the time
and location are listed below. We urge all spotters who have NOT
attended a refresher class in the last three (3) years to be sure and
attend this one. It is important to keep current with all the observing
and reporting criteria, especially since we do not normally have that
much severe weather to report. New spotters are also urged to attend to
become familiar with the Skywarn reporting criteria, and obtain a
spotter ID --- necessary for reporting your weather.
TIME: 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Saturday May 10
LOCATION: MESA PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING FACILITY
3260 N. 40th Street,
( just off the Greenfield Exit, Loop 202 )
PLEASE RSVP to Steve Sipple 602-275-7002 ext 537 or David
Runyan 602-275-7002 ext 223 at NWS Phoenix. We need to know how many
to accommodate...by Wednesday May 7th.
