We certainly do, although not many. Peak season is in the spring. I have 
seen several here in Maricopa county. A very damaging F-3  tornado struck 
Paradise Valley in 1972 (before I lived here). Another suspected hot spot 
is E of Flagstaff in the Mogollon Rim Convergence Zone.

Go to the NWS Phoenix web page, look at climatology, look at the online 
publication "Climatology of Phoenix" and there is a listing of quite a 
number of tornado events with descriptions.
