Hello Don and others...
I changed a few defaults in the server today, this should
fix the dup postings... If anyone else is having a problem
with the server, please let me know. You can contact me at
[email protected] .....
Also on another note, if you post in html, the server will now
change the post to ascii text and send to the list.
The server will also add text to the post that reads.....
-----------------------------------------------------------------
--- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts ---
multipart/mixed
text/plain (text body -- kept)
text/x-vcard
The reason this message is shown is because the post was in HTML
or had an attachment. Attachments are not allowed. To learn how
to post in Plain-Text go to: http://www.expita.com/nomime.html ---
----------------------------------------------------------------
or something like that. The link it shows
http://www.expita.com/nomime.html
Has basic info on the topic. Has great info for Outlook, AOL,
Eudora and other mail program users.
I really want to keep posts to ascii text only for a few
reasons, the big one is that it is very hard to pass a
virus or worm in ascii text. On this list and other lists
that I have run, still have NOT had a problem with a virus...
I'd like to keep it that way....
Thanks..
Allen Sklar, W7AS
