SOUTHWEST ARIZONA HAS BEEN CANCELLED...

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH THAT HAD BEEN IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS
OF FAR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AS WELL AS SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA...INCLUDING THE GREATER PHOENIX METROPOLITAN AREA...HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY
THIS EVENING. WITH RATHER STRONG EAST WINDS IN THE MID-TROPOSPHERE...
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THUNDERSTORMS WILL REDEVELOP OVER PORTIONS OF
SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA LATER TONIGHT...THEN CONTINUE TOWARD SOUTHWEST
ARIZONA LATE TONIGHT. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WIND AND INTENSE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
AREAS OF BLOWING DUST WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE LOWER DESERT.
