    The Skywarn Recognition Day(SRD) on December 7 
was a bit of extra work for some of us,  but was also a lot
of fun for those of us who contacted  other hams and other
NWS  offices around the country.    It was my fourth year
in this Special Event,  and it was also a learning experience.


    Here are some preliminary figures from  SRD in Phoenix,
from the log book of  WX7PHX....
    Total number of contacts        204
    Number of states worked       32
     NWS offices worked           26

I emailed the logs to Scott Mentzer,  MIC  at  WFO Goodland
