Brandon,

        While you are hitting Darla up for things, remind her to track down
some VHF portables for us, she said we'd be able to use them, she just needs
to dig them up...and maybe a reminder.  If we could eve get a few spares,
maybe we can scrounge up some adapters to use for portable data (APRS?).

         At the meeting we also discussed an informal build session for some
portable antenna equipment. I would like to see HF and VHF (UHF?).  Maybe
find a way to integrate both into the same mast, it would sure help in
conserving space.

        We may not need to weld anything for the wx station bracket, there
might be a bolt-together option, at least until we can get something welded,
so we can get the station up and running.

        As far as PR for the fair, I have gotten a Power point presentation
from the ARRL, and a Video as well..both for the computer.  I also have some
printable handouts, some are nice, others are fairly lame.  I was thnking I
might work up a small flyer of our own to handout, maybe Darla could provide
copier use?  Maybe their display board that EMS used to use?  I wouldn't
mind setting up a live APRS display, maybe rig control software as well.
Maybe we could come up with a TV for display of some of our things....just
whatever we can do to make it look like something neat.  IF we could have
the EOC APRS WX up by them it would be even better for that.....maybe cobble
together some temp APRS in vehicles to have something extra to
display....home stations turned on etc.  These things need to be hashed out
a bit before June, as June is going to be a busy time.
