Hello everyone,
Think most of you know Beverly was hit by a pickup truck while in the
crosswalk going to the post office.  She was thrown in the air about 5
feet.  She was at the hospital for most of the day.  They did catscans &
xrays and checked for a concussion.  Believe it or not, she is very
fortunate.  Her shin bone is broken just above her ankle and a lot of
"road rash" on her leg.  She went home this evening with Rxs for the
pain, aches, and infection.  She is on crutches and is using one of
Rusty's wheelchairs in the house.
 
We went to Deming to check on them this afternoon.  Both she and Rusty
are doing as well as can be expected.    She will be very, very sore in
the morning (Saturday).  John K9ITK will be there on Sunday and expects
to move into his apartment in Deming on Monday.  He will be a big help
to them.
