I will never be able to attend any Sundays or Saturdays, but am free any
Monday thru Friday. I am working a lot of OT right now for Christmas
reasons, but after Jan. it's back to recluse in the recliner mon thru frid.

1. Have the meeting change from a weekend to weekday from time
to time. This will help accommodate some members that can't make
weekends but will also allow the ones that can't make weekdays to still
make the meetings.
Eric - I'm all for bringing up the attendance. Mondays or Fridays would be
best for me.

2. Have a few of the meetings at supper time, bring the whole
family and let the spouses, friends, kids sit and chat and eat while we
discuss business.
Eric - Something family friendly and wallet friendly.. Pizza city might be
good game room for the kids. Mondays or Fridays would be best for me.

3. Rotate the location of the meetings around the county a
little bit (see # 2).
Let's kick this around a little bit here in email and see what
pans out. I would like to hear ideas about January's meeting date and
then we can kind of go from there.
Eric - Rotation is good (see my answer on #2). BTW did I say....Mondays or
Fridays would be best for me?

  Hello all!

Reminder that tomorrow TUESDAY DEC 7TH at 8PM is simplex net
night. I will be running the net from the EOC. Also I haven't heard
anything from anyone regarding the meeting ideas. They are again listed
below. Please throw some input in so we can get everyone active.
Also what would anyone think of a fellowship net? Something ran
after our regular net. Go about 3 or 4 rounds with the check-ins just
for the fun of it. Give net control some good practice other than
  reading the script.
What would anyone think about running a contest from the EOC?
Give our radios and operators a good work out along with the antenna.
In nice weather we could rig a dipole up or a sloper and run the coax in
the back door and have multi ops multi radios.
How about a group build of something? (Emergency related
maybe?) We could build anything from QRP transmitters to a receiver, or
  antennas.

  Ok enough prattling on.
