[PCR-1000] When can we expect the NEW PCR1000?

That was the same thing that I had heard. Glad I picked one up before they
disappeared.

I've had an itch to try out Winradio so I guess this might give me a reason.

Hate to see Icom get out of the wideband tabletop receiver market however.
The R-8500 is an outstanding receiver and a fairly decent scanner. Glad I
got one of those too before they were discontinued. I'd like to see Icom
build an R-8500 receiver based on the 7800 chassis and layout. Something
with the same (or better) RF performance of the 8500 but with updated
features and a full color display. I just can't see Icom abandoning that
market segment to AOR and others.
