[PCR-1000] ex2099 software - Think I'll give it a try

Well, up and did it, went through the ex2099.exe calibration routine. More exactly, went through is several times. Dunno how much better it works now, but a lot of small things like S-Meter flatness over frequency were off a bit. As far as sensitivity, none of the BPFs were off much, but I found quickly that things happen without apparent reason in the software: values magically changing to very high values. I might have been doing it, but damned if I can see what. Ended up going throug the thing over and over until the bogus entries were vanquished. The Xtal was only off a few Hz, did not bother diddling it.
PCR1000BUR reported 9 values out of tolerance before tuning, now reports 22! But, I am fairly sure I set everything correctly, so this is just where things end up with this early version radio. If anyone want the EEPROM data to compare, I'll send it to them.
Bob
