[PCR-1000] Maybe XP can inadvertently corrupt the PCR1000 EEPROM

The polling of a serial mouse involves toggling DTR (p.9) LOW and the mouse
responding with a 01110111. (Ascii M) That's rather beneign...
 You'll have to get the PCR to turn itself ON before anything can get damaged...
