Havent a clue. I only noticed it on the CD of Super Control for my FT-847.
I generally used HRD 3.2 for specific jobs on the 1000.

Hi RJ
You mentioned that super control supports PCR1000. I went to there site
and saw there are many different versions for all kinds of different
models. What one should I DL that supports PCR1000?
Thanks
Matty

Think you best call them in advance, as the PCR1K is now discontinued,
and
they may not even want to support it.
You might want to file-save your EEPROM settings in case they return it
as a
"blocked" rcvr.
I have pretty much discontinued using my late model 1K for anything
other
than monitoring certain freq's above 512 Mhz, and the "ham" beacons on
HF.
Incidently, "Super Control" CAT software also supports the PCR1000, but
they
hardly make mention of it in their sales pitch/docs. Havent tried it
yet,
as it just arrived. Have to set up my newly arrived FT-847D "fully
expanded" xcvr first. ;-)
