[PCR-1000] When can we expect the NEW PCR1000?

Ahhhh.... WINDRADIO. That's the 'Australian maker I just could not
remember the name of in my previous missives. Yup, great radios
(especially the ones they custom make for gov't and military
surveillance...
WinRadio fully publishes the computer interface spec, provides a visual
basic toolbox for development, and even sponsors user submission
contests for the best software tools - giving away radios and
accessories as prizes. They then make the submissions available to
other users. This is the exact OPPOSITE attitude than that held by
Icom.
