[PCR-1000] Remote use of the PCR-1000 from the computer

I know I have a 25 ft. RS-232 cable that I use with my PCR-1000 and it works 
fine.  I have used it on several other radios too.... my Uniden BC-780s, 
Icom R-8500 and my AOR AR-5000/SDU5500 and all of them seemed to work fine 
with the 25 ft cable.  Used the cable with a generic USB adapter for my 
laptop a few of those with good results as well.

When I was looking into using long RS-232 cables I believe I was told I 
could get away with as much as 75ft at low bitrates.
