http://www.skysweep.com/skysweep.html is the URL you need for Skysweeper -
it is a fairly expensive application and has a steep learning curve if you
are to use all its very extensive capabilities. There are alternative
decoder suites that will work with TalkPCR - they just use the soundcard
input in the same way that Radiocom does. JVcomm32 is quite good for SSTV
and RTTY which are my own personal preferred modes. Other applications are
available for CW, PSK31 etc and I use HamRadioDeluxe to control my TS2000x
and decode psk modes.
By the way I tried an earlier version of radiocom with my PCR1000 and it
trashed the eeprom settings - you do know about saving and restoring them I
hope?
With regard to the PCR1000 service manual pdf file - it is completely
irrelevant how big your inbox is - you do not download files using your
email inbox - they are accessed by html and more limiting is your internet
access speed. I have broadband and so my 750kbps allowed me to download it
in 12 minutes. If your access rate is slow (eg dialup) then it will take
proportionally more time. I regularly download files that are 600-800Mb in
size and my 20Mb inbox is not involved. Any further questions - do not
hesitate to contact me
