[PCR-1000] pour HF performance

Wrong!

PCR-1000 performs great if you have the appropriate antennas, and an MFJ
1045C preselector between 1.8 and 54 Mhz.

I use the LF Engineering "probe" H-800 active antenna system for 100 Khz to
50 Mhz, and the ST-2 vertical dipole array for 30 Mhz to 1.3 Ghz with great
success.

All wideband rcvrs are prone to image/harmonic/trash de-modulation.  You
need to tailor your system for specific use, and dont expect the "ultimate"
from any piece of hardware/software.

Current PCR-1000 specs for selectivity on HF are: 2.8  Khz/-6Db which is a
major improvement over the older double-conversion models

People must remember that the current productions of the PCR-1000 BON is NOT
the same animal as the older versions.
