There are different versions of Radiocom and related software:

4.0 is a good base level program for weatherfax, RTTY, CW and SSTV.
Available in a PCR-1000 version or a "standard" version, which will
remotely tune most other ham and some marine receivers. It can also be
used to transmit with a suitable ham transmitter.

4.5 is a cut down version specifically for distribution with the
PCR-1000, and just working with this machine

5.x is an enhancement on 4.0 that adds a timer scheduler and APT/WEFAX
weather satellite reception, plus a new user interface, more graphs,
more configurable etc

As a separate line from the same manufacturer, but aimed at the marine
rather than the ham market, there is:

Board Terminal: weatherfax, RTTY, CW, Navtex. It also decodes and plots
out SYNOP weather reports, and has a timer. A much easier to use, less
tecchie user interface for marine users. A general version for radios
other than the PCR-1000 (but see below)

ProMeteo - the version of Board Terminal for the PCR-1000, with a choice
of either the standard Board Terminal interface, or the PCR-1000
ProMeteo specific one.

Where did you buy it from and how much did you pay.
Why I ask this? I paid $354.00 (USD) for mine and I have the radiocom
4.5 soft=20
ware.Radiocom 4.5 is strictly made for thr pcr1000.
