[PCR-1000] Probe1K

THAT is exactly what I'd love to do. I just did a search on ebay for an =
"HP
75" but found nothing.  Is there a better model number to search for? =
Any
leads on one, or any suggestions on other units that would work ie: the =
old
RS or Sharp machines?

i concur about Probe1K, and was an early adopter.  no Windows GUI, but=20
that's not really necessary.  with it, i've run my PCR-1000 from a=20
pocket-sized HP 75 palmtop that runs DOS 5.0 with excellent results.  =

entire system fits in a small portable camera bag and runs off a battery =

pack with an earphone.  this may be one of the only practical=20
configurations for robust portable PCR-1000 operations.
