[PCR-1000] Winradio G303 / Antenna AX-31B

yes, the G303i looks like an exciting radio. It is a shame that it only
covers to 30 Mhz.
The AX-31B looks like a good antenna to knock off. Some plexiglas, copper
tape, remote TV
antenna amplifier. Be sure to make some copper elements 35 CM. or so for
your lower frequencies.
It won't be very directive in VHF. Study the photos. Particularly #2 and
#4.(this come off the top of my head...)
For your interests, the PCR-1000 hits the spot, and if you can find it
without the Bonito software, that's
a bonus. You can run the PCR1K from a laptop and 12 battery.
Also a good antenna for you may just be a TV top antenna. And if it's
amplified, that's even better...
