[PCR-1000] Has anyone disassembled the Stock antenna?

Does anyone know if the Stock PCR-1000 antenna, other then useless, has REAL 
Coaxial cable going to it?

I have a need for some really "thin" diameter cable and I could use the stock 
BNC if the stuff is real. Essentially I want to mount a tiny UHF receiver 
directly to the boom of a handheld yagi and the antenna connections available 
on the receiver are typical computer 2 prong circuit board upright pins.

It's a long story, but I figured if someone had already busted theirs up it 
would save me from ruining my next experiment which was to try to use it as 
an adjustable glass mount 1/4 wave vertical on my car.
