While this particular combination happens to be true....a VERY good GENERAL 
Rule is to not drive line inputs with amplified outputs...the "draw" of the 
soundcard is not the problem...the "drive" of an unmonitored amplifier into 
the soundcard is....if either input or output becomes toasted...then you will 
experience the "draw"....
