no you need to connect the output of your pcr1000 to a line in of the sound
card and make sure that it is not muted and then you will hear it via the
computer speakers

did you have to plug your computer speakers into your unit? I had to 
unplug my speacker from my computer and plug it into the back of my unit 
for it to play through my computer. Is that right?
