After you input your information, Are you saving file via the pull down menu
and selecting save?
I use the ICOM software with XPPro.

Dear PCR-1000 list members:

I am having a problem inserting frequencies on to the memory bank.  I am
using the Icom software and this is
the first time I have had problems with it using Windows XP.   The
program will allow me to input frequency
information and I save it, and it remains in the list.  But when I shut
down the program and reboot it, the
frequency that were added to the current  list are not there.
