  While not as good as a high-end ,dedicated hf radio,I'm quite pleased 
with my PCR1000's hf works.I especially enjoy its discriminator (packet 
out) jack for data trans. I use a random-wire,approx 100',coupled to a 
Stridsberg multicoupler (x4).

  My biggest complaint is not having access to a more narrow b/w ,say 
500hz, for dig utes.
